Our coffee passions joined forces in 2023, shortly after, we began to struggle with finding the best cup of coffee that was affordable and within a comfortable drive from home. Many store-bought options are sold in bulk and will just sit and go stale by the time you get home with it or end up using it, and many of the local roasters we’ve come across sell out quickly. We decided that our best route forward was to home roast, but you’d quickly find out how expensive being a coffee connoisseur is once you start trying to buy things and looking at the batch size of home roasters for the price, it became very clear to us that we needed to just go all out.
Enter, Thurston Slow Roast Espresso! We’ve gone to great lengths to learn all we can about coffee and roasting for the perfect cup of coffee. Our 3.5 kg gas roaster is quite the machine, capable of producing an outstanding 25 lbs an hour depending on the roast level and cooling time of each 5-7lb batch every 9-15 minutes! We are also a mobile espresso vendor, but we also sell local cottage kitchen made items and we have partnered with a local print shop to bring you our own custom shirts, hats, you name it!
